Air Nostrum, Iberia’s regional franchise partner, is continuing its promotional campaign in Melilla. Building on the prices offered during the previous special sale—which was very well received—the airline is launching further price reductions to mark its 25th anniversary of operations in the Autonomous City; service began on July 2, 2001, with a flight between Madrid and Melilla.

A key feature of this second promotion is that, over the next five days, significant discounts will also apply to summer season flights for both residents and non-residents. To celebrate the major 2026 addition of summer routes—specifically the connection to Valencia running from July 21 to August 30—fares will start at €69 for a round-trip, all-inclusive ticket for non-residents, and €22 for residents. Flights to Oviedo and Santiago de Compostela start at €79 per leg (€24 for residents), while flights to Tenerife are reduced to €99 and €30, respectively.

All other discounts remain in effect, with the airline offering fares starting at €16 for residents. The eligible travel dates run from September 21, 2026, to March 18, 2027. The offers apply to the eight year-round routes the airline operates from Melilla.

The new promotion launching early this morning from Air Nostrum allows for travel between Melilla and Seville, Granada, Almería, and Málaga starting at €46 per leg for non-residents. For residents of the autonomous city, the price is even lower, with fares to these cities starting at €16 per leg. Flights connecting Melilla with Madrid and Barcelona start at €78; the promotion begins at €79 for Mallorca and €99 for Gran Canaria—rates applicable per leg for non-residents. For Melilla residents, the price drops to €24 per leg for Madrid and Barcelona, ​​€25 for Mallorca, and €30 for Gran Canaria.

Promotional tickets will go on sale at midnight on July 9 and can be purchased at www.iberia.com or through travel agencies.

In addition to the price offers, the airline is rewarding its most loyal customers—Iberia Club members—to mark its anniversary in Melilla. There are two ways to take advantage of the promotion this July. First, customers will earn double Avios points on all flights to or from Melilla during July 2026.

Furthermore, regarding point redemption—using accumulated Avios to purchase tickets—Iberia Club members can redeem them at a 25% discount throughout the month of July.

All-time passenger record

Separately, during its anniversary week, Air Nostrum broke its all-time passenger record for operations in Melilla. Prior to last week, the previous high stood at 12,000 passengers. Meanwhile, a total of 12,213 passengers were recorded between June 29 and July 5 on the various routes Air Nostrum operates in the Autonomous City.
