Air Nostrum increases its service during the peak summer in the Balearic Islands, Melilla, and on mainland routes

From July 18 to August 31, available seats in the Balearic Islands will increase by 18.8% with new routes to Castellón, Andorra-La Seu, and Rioja.
In Melilla, the total number of routes reached eleven, an absolute record. The new routes are Oviedo and Tenerife North.
On mainland routes, 9% more seats are offered with the new route between Vigo and Valencia.

Air Nostrum, Iberia's franchised airline for regional flights, will increase available seats on its Balearic Islands, Melilla, and some mainland routes from July 18 to August 31, coinciding with the summer peak. There will also be growth on some international routes, such as the one between Ibiza and Nice.
The company has made a significant effort to facilitate passenger summer connections and has placed special emphasis on major tourist attractions such as the Balearic Islands. Air Nostrum will increase the number of seats available on the Mediterranean islands by up to 18.8%. New routes launching in 2025 are notable, such as connections from Mallorca to Castellón, Andorra-La Seu, and Rioja.
Among the operations already operating from previous seasons, the significant increase on the route between Mallorca and Valencia stands out, with 67% more seats available during those 45 days of peak summer. Also notable is the increase in seats on the route from Son Sant Joan to Valladolid, with a 59% increase. Valencia will also be better connected to Ibiza, with a 31% increase in service. Connections from Mallorca to Vigo and León, and from Alicante to Ibiza, will also improve.
A total of 20 routes will connect the Balearic Islands with the rest of Spain. There will be 12 connections from Mallorca, five from Ibiza, and three from Mahón (Lérida, León, and Valencia).
Regarding inter-Balearic operations, Air Nostrum has increased its number of seats by 3.7%, surpassing 100,000. The direct route between Ibiza and Mahón will operate every day except Wednesdays during the summer peak.
Record in Melilla
In Melilla, Air Nostrum will break its all-time record for routes. There will be eleven routes available to residents of the Autonomous City. This year's new flights are to Oviedo and Tenerife North, joining the usual routes to Malaga, Barcelona, Granada, Almería, Las Palmas, Madrid, Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela, and Seville. The routes that have increased are those to Malaga, with an 11% increase, and the route to Mallorca, with a significant 17% increase in seats. In total, the increase in seats in Melilla is 5%.
In the Canary Islands, seven domestic destinations are served, including connections from Las Palmas to Badajoz, Vigo, Melilla, and León; The route between León and Melilla with Tenerife, and the routes between Lanzarote and Valencia and Vigo.
Mainland Routes
Summer operations will increase by 9% on mainland routes, with the addition of the Valencia-Vigo route this summer, marking a summer debut. The route with the greatest growth is the one between Málaga and León, with 33% more seats. The Barcelona-Badajoz connection has an increase of 23%, and the Málaga-Valencia connection has an increase of 17%.
Regarding the routes, Barcelona will be connected to Badajoz and León; Madrid to Badajoz, Castellón, and Andorra-La Seu; the aforementioned routes from Valencia to Málaga and Vigo; León to Málaga, and regarding Santander, the Cantabrian airport will be connected from July 18 to August 31 to Granada, Vigo, and Jerez.
Internationally, growth is coming from the Ibiza-Nice route, with an 11% increase in seats. Additionally, flights from Malaga to Nice, Casablanca, Tangier, and Funchal; from Mallorca to Nice; Ibiza joins Geneva, Marseille, and the aforementioned Nice route; while Valencia maintains its summer route to Funchal.
